Ovarian Cancer
Ovarian cancer is a cancer of the ovaries, the female reproductive organs. Three main type of tumors exist in the ovaries – epithelial tumors, germ cell tumors and stromal tumors. Ovarian tumors can be benign or cancerous; however, often times, both types of tumors require treatment.
Dr. Neubauer is skilled at performing surgeries for patients with ovarian cancer and has treated many patients with different types of ovarian cancers. Whenever it is safe and feasible she utilizes a minimally invasive approach to surgery for ovarian cancer. Dr. Neubauer also administers chemotherapy for the treatment of ovarian cancer and she and her team make sure that her patients feel well educated and supported throughout the treatment process for ovarian cancer.
